There are distinct advantages to the engagement of others to evaluate elements of your business. Experienced individuals who understand the 'what and why' of your business, but who are free from any emotional or political encumbrance of the organisation, can see things that you yourself may not. Objectivity is essential to discovering and addressing those obstacles and barriers that may prevent organisational advancement. For this reason, Adventist Care engaged Human Services Consultant, Ross Boaden, to deliver an objective assessment of its disability services. Ross did not disappoint. The delivery of a very comprehensive and structured report, that thoroughly examined the culture and practises of the service, and gave insights that were previously invisible to the organisation. Ross Boaden's contribution was well-received and had a very positive influence on this business.

Gary Blagden, CEO, Seventh-day Adventist Care Ltd

Working with Ross was a pleasure and we thank him for his attention to detail.  He has an in-depth knowledge of the Standards and the disability sector.

Lee-Anne Brenssell, Executive Manager Services, Identitywa

Ross was the epitome of professionalism, yet exuded this amazing quality of actually caring about EPIS as an organisation.  He was open to questions being fired at him from our staff, and really went the extra mile to ensure we understood the process. The NDIS has been a challenge for EPIS given our client base and remoteness, and Ross was able to put much into perspective for us.

Deb Stockton, CEO, EPIS Incorporated

It was very evident to individuals, families, carers, employees and others that Ross had the ability and unique skills to guide the consultation process in a sensitive manner, with respect and understanding. Ross demonstrated professionalism and was extremely accommodating.

Marjorie Cruz, CEO, People Actively Committed Together (PACT)

Ross was very personable and very well organised. He kept in touch with myself on a regular basis, he was flexible and conducted the evaluation to fit in with the needs of the organisation. It was really pleasing that it was not just a document review, but there was a concerted effort by Ross to meet the clients. We now feel better equipped to move forward with our Disability Services.

Ged Hines, Manager Community Care Services, City of Swan

Ross and I collaborated very well right through to the finish. Ross communicated in a very pleasant and soothing manner with all concerned (people we support, staff and management) - making everyone feel at ease. He maintained a professional boundary whilst carrying out his work in a friendly manner.

Angie Phillips, CEO Midwest Community Living Association

Mr Boaden was very professional in the way he conducted the evaluation and made it very easy to understand the process.

Bridget Harvey, Executive Manager People Culture and Governance, Outcare

Ross was supportive and encouraging throughout the whole process, which we had anticipated would have been much more daunting!

Helen Bolton, Managing Partner, Therapy and Learning Communication (TLC) WA

What a pleasant surprise this experience has been! So much less onerous than I anticipated. Ross Boaden was friendly, considerate and highly professional. How refreshing!

Lloyd Achard, Executive Director, Tender Care

I've had great feedback from our staff and the people we support to say how Ross made them feel at ease, really listened and gave them time to tell him what they wanted to say.
Karen Lowes, Manager, Bridges Disability Services, Anglicare WA

Thank you for your sensitive and gentle coaching style of auditing. We found the process very supportive and encouraging, and as a result we are very motivated to continue the next stage of strengthening our policies, processes and practices.
